30 de specialisti au participat la interventia chirurgicala, care a durat mai bine de 16 ore. Pacientul a fost un fermier în varsta de 54 de ani care nu mai avea brate de sase ani. Ambele i-au fost prinse de un utilaj agricol si retezate deasupra coatelor.




Pentru a micsora riscul de respingere a mebrelor da catre organism, pacientul va fi nevoit sa ia toata viata medicamente imunosupresoare.
